I’ve had a few times over the past 18 months when the drain fault light came on and
I just drained it and everything was working again.
A few weeks ago, my machine stopped working no lights, nothing and a half full drum.I was out of the house so no idea what happened.
I drained the drum and called an engineer. He showed me that the circuit board was stuffed. I sent it off to youfixit.eu who repaired the PCB.
Fitted it and put it on a cleaning bleach 95hot wash. All worked fine until It stopped near the end of the cycle with a drain fault.
I’ve pulled out the filer and run it on spin cycle and cant see the impellers turning or hear the pump making any noise

If it is the pump that has gone would that likely blow the PCB?
The machine is 10 years old and only had light use 2 or 3 times a week, so would like to save i if possible. But don’t want to chase good money after bad.

Is it worth trying a new pump? Or could it be an electrical fault.
    Any ideas please.

you need to get the pump checked electrically

it could still be a board fault have had the pump relays on the board fail and if the board was dead the repairer may not test for it.
ask the repairer if they checked pump relay function
