Bosch slimline model SPS40E32GS. Please can you tell me if the top lid can be removed as it will not fit without removing it. My old one had the top removed by kitchen fitters. I paid to have the dishwasher installed but the delivery man did not know how? It has to be taken off or will not fit, so would have to return as it is sitting under a tarpaulin in the garden, so need advice quickly. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

    Hi

You should be able to remove the worktop lid by removing the two screws holding it at the rear and then pushing the lid towards the back. Once off though you need to cover the exposed top area so little fingers or foreign objects being trapped and causing a problem.

There may be one already on your old appliance 😉

As an aside did you enquire when you ordered the dishwasher you would need a reduced height machine and was the delivery team aware of your requirements?

    Don
