    Hello all,

we’ve got a problem with our Beko DW686 dishwasher. When I start a program it drains first, then fills some water and stops. After a few minutes it fills more water. Eventually after several filling cycles it overflows into the flood pan under the machine.

What could be the problem? Is this related to a flow meter (how to check it?)?

Thanks a lot for any help

I tried to run a test program by holding Program and Start buttons and powering it up. It shows IFT on the screen but if I press Start button it doesn’t do anything – only arrow sign comes on. Am I doing anything wrong?

Also checked flow meter and it seems to be fine. Checked wiring loom at the bottom edge of the door and can’t see any obvious damage to any of the wires.

And finally after assembling everything back it now runs normal. Not sure if this is for long though

well, it is not working again. It was washing all night, showing about 0:45 left in the middle of the night which changed to 1:11 when I opened it in the morning… Does this indicate main board failure?

OK, I managed to enter into diagnostics mode finally. On this machine you only need to hold start button and then power up (no need to hold P button). After running diagnostic programs it leaked on P4 program and gave Er1 code. Anybody knows what this error code means?
