Bosch WVD24660GB02 – stopping with around 39 mins remaining but not actually running to time – set on cotton wash empty temp@ 90deg should be 180 mins there a bouts – around 45 mins through wash timing, agitates and heats then had jumped down to show 39 mins and drained off water sit there does nothing? Rinse only cycle runs 15 mins stops at 9 mins remaining.
I have checked heater no shorts – It fills, heating up, it agitates, it drains out.
I checked the individual – valves, heaters, pump all check out ok.
    No fault codes showing.
The motor did sound as though it was labouring at one point when i tried spin a bit like you get with induction drone noise as it was getting up to speed – yet this is brushes.
I asked the customer to run empty later she confirmed.
The super quick cycle stopped 9 mins remaining.
The spin stuck at 8 mins – she retried and it did finish.
The rinse cycle and spin are timed so assume this can only be a pcb fault.? These boards are mega bucks so wanted to be absolutely sure before replacing.

    Re: Bosch WVD24660GB02 not completing

Would that be WVD24460GB/02? Wash programs cutting short on Bosch washing machines are usually caused by target temperature not being reached, eg open circuit heater, not unusual on these washer dryers.

As for the other discrepancies, I assume you have advised the customer the displayed program time is only a rough guide and not intended to reflect reality? Eg cycles will finish a lot quicker with no load, but can take a lot longer if the load is out of balance, which explains why the times jump up or down when the program recalculates.

Yep considered that and explained to customer when emptywash timings can be much quicker!
The heater was my first check as had issues before on Bosch stuff.
Resistance fine and no earth fault – and it does heat up.
Now whether heating up fully as not stayed around for that.
Doesn’t explain why rinses sticking and now spin?
The machine pumps out just goes quiet before just sitting there according to customer.
