    My Indesit IDC8T3 has stopped heating up. I believe a quick fix could be a heater reset switch but I am unable to find it. Anyone know where it is located ?

    You believe wrong, there isn’t one.

    More to the point, has this dryer had the fire safety modifications done?

    You didn’t answer my question which is important. Has your dryer had the safety modifications done?

    No it didn’t require any modifications, the serial number was OK when checked with Indesit.
