    Problem – clicking is intermittent – stops when i open the fridge door and is faster when ice machine switched on. changed water filter cartridge in december and red light has still not turned to green – do not know if either are connected or seperate problems can anyone help?

    yes is a S25BRSB31 whirlpool amercian fridge freezer 18months old
    clickin appears to be in rear of unit and causes the water(?) pipe which runs up the back of the unit to bash again the back

    Sounds like you’ll need a new main pcb to cure the clicking problem.
    The red light should go out when you change the filter and press the reset button, it could be yet another problem with the main pcb. (The tri colour led should be green, then turn orange about six weeks before turning red)
