LG F1496Q/TD Tripping Electrics on Spin

We have an LG 8kg F1496Q which is 5 years old. It has started tripping the electrics when it is spinning. It doesn’t happen every cycle, although most of them, especially when on the normal cotton cycle, less often when on a shorter Quick 30, or Delicate cycle etc. It can happen several times in a cycle, we have to turn the electrics back on, start the washer again so it can finish, then it will often trip again. We try keeping the loads small which helps a bit but will usually still trip. We just keep turning it back on until it eventually finishes. Does this sound like something we can fix ourselves?
