ParticipantHi, Just found your site and firstly would like to say how good it is. Thanks.
Now my question. I have a Diplomat GG1000DL LP range cooker that is still brand new but would like to know if it can be converted to run on natural gas. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks Linda

KeymasterIt should be possible with a set of jets for natural gas, if you don’t have the original set as they all should come with natural jets in them. If you don’t dave may be able to get them for you but I don’t recognise that model number, usually they would be ADPXXXX, where “X” is a digit.
You will of course have to have this carried out by a CORGI registered installer.

Thanks for your reply.
I will look at the manual again to check on the model number but this is the number actually stamped on the cooker.
Could you please tell me an approximate price for the jets and the fitting? A Corgi registered fitter looked over the cooker and the manual and he seems to think it cannot be converted, although he did say he had never been asked to do this before. If this is possible, how do I find someone qualified who can do this?
Thanks Linda

Hi
If dave can find the original manufacturer I may well have the replacement jets in stock for these dependant on the jet size.

Hi again,
Would it be easier to sell it instead?

I missed this one, sorry.
MFI don’t list the conversion kit for this model, which is not to say that it can’t be obtained.
If you phone their customer care department on (01707) 362020 they should be able to advise on the availability.
Dave.

Thanks Dave.
I have just tried the number you gave but they ask for the store or depot number. Is this number just for trade?

Oops 😳
Try this one (08457) 959722, no-one there until Tuesday now though I doubt, apart from an automated answering service 😉

Just phoned the number Dave gave to me and MFI say it cannot be converted to Natural Gas.
Anyone want to buy an LPG cooker? :haier:
Thanks for all your help anyway.
