    Hi all,

Hoping someone can shed some light on the error my BWD 129 is currently displaying, it starts the cycle then starts to make a clicking noise and shows the following flashing lights (they all flash at the same time):

Any help would be really appreciated – thanks in advance.

F13. Drying NTC open/short circuit, wiring broken to ntc, fan motor jammed, condensor blocked

Thanks iadom, I’ve checked the fan motor and condensor, and found a penny stuck in the outlet just before the fan motor, I think this may have caused the power to trip when it stopped working the other day – is it possible that this could have blown a capacitor on the main board?

    Thanks for your help,
    Greg

I doubt that a penny stuck inside the fan/dryer assembly would cause it to trip, an insulation check on the dryer heater and fan motor would be the first thing to check.

Any short circuit has the potential to damage a pcb.

Okay thank-you, I’ll start with that, appreciate the quick replies.

Thanks for the help, I narrowed it down to the sensor in the dryer heater, ordered a replacement from UK Whitegoods, replaced & all seems to be working fine again now.

£16 fix – very pleased with that!
