    Hi ,

I had purchased a White Knight Tumble Dryer for my garage.

When the tumble dryer was in the garage I didn’t have to worry about mould or condensation or steaming related problems. Now that its relocated in the utility room and enclosed by panels from all sides except the front door I am worried about problems due to mould arising out from condensation/water vapor disseminated during the drying process 🙁

Can anyone suggests options to counter this ? Ones I am considering are
    1) Attach vent hose/exhaust pipe to release steam on the front side in the open instead of letting it settled on the walls and panels.

    2) Attach vent hose kit ( Don’t know if its going to be any more effective than Option-1) ?

    3) White Knight Tumble Dryer Condenser Vent Kit Box With Hose

Any suggestions tried and tested will be much appreciated 🙂

Why not go back and ask the stores you are using for the parts? 😉

Vent it properly is the answer.

Those condenser boxes are, in my opinion, a waste of space and we don’t push them at all, hardly sell any as we know they’re a waste of space. 😉

But then, I wonder if the other retailers would tell you that or, be able to.

White Knight dryers like most vent their hot steamy air out of the back. So the correct solution would be to install a cavity wall vent kit and attach a short length of vent hose between it and the dryer. All neat and tidy that way, condensation a thing of the past.

Cheap skate quick solution, drag it out, pop a vent hose on it at the back and the other end tossed out of an open window.

Thanks Martin & Kwatt for your advice , I’ll keep a watch to see if there are any signs of mould before I do anything further.
