    Hi all

My dishwasher recently had no panel lights on switch on. I tapped around the top panel and it came back to life and worked ok for a few days.

What’s happening now is that the lights generally come on but when I switch it on it empties, then fills, then stops and clicks a few times as though its trying to start (no motor or rotors spinning but the motor seems to get hot). If I trying switching it on/off a few times it sometimes starts the wash but doesn’t complete the program and sometimes goes to no panel lights again. If I leave it the lights will generally come back on again and I can press the Reset buttons to drain it ok.

I’ve checked the heater which seems good at 23 Ohms.
checked the motor spins (well it comes on sometimes too)
inspected the control PCB (which was replaced on recall) it looks good no obvious burnt tracks or dry joints
have cleaned out the syphon sections behind left hand panel and drain tube to sump

    Many thanks for advice!

The symptoms point to the control PCB being the culprit. 🙁
