Called to the above machine.
Customer said machine gave error but couldn’t remember what error.
She read on the internet how to reset machine so did.
Motor made horrible noise then stopped so she called me.I found water left in machine and motor would not turn.
Checked motor and brushes worn down (unusual for a 3 year old bosch)
Replaced brushes.When put on spin motor runs on distribute for a minute then stops and spin time drops from 12 minutes to 4 minutes and machine does nothing else. Motor sounds fine when it turns.
When on spin does this machine require a load before spinning like a few other makes?

Motor drawing too much current due to armature segments shorting by the sounds. Motor fooked is my guess 🙁

I would guess error 21 displayed, this is a preventative state after suspected worn brushes detected.
Resetting it via entry to the service, without replacing brushes or motor risks damaging the module and/or motor.Re: Bosch WAQ28461GB/15 Motor stops after i minute

I cringed when she told me this but the insulation on the motor checked out OK and there where no signs of any segments lifted on the armature so I thought she’d got away with it.
Guess I was wrong!
