    Hello,

    I have a Hoover oven, model hoc709/6x. It appears to be dead, ie not heating at all and nothing coming up on digital display. However there is an electronic ticking noise coming from the display. Is this an obvious fault I could identify myself?

    first thing I would suspect is the clock

    no clock no oven a lot of them can be bridged electrically if you don’t want to replace it
