ParticipantI was just wondering if anybody knows the difference between the heat pumps on BSH dishwashers. I have one in the garage, part number 00755078, that I ordered for a customer who later changed their minds.
I need one for a Neff S51T69X2GB and its coming up as part number 00651956 and there a hell of a difference in price.
From looking at the images they look almost identical.Does anybody know if they are compatible.
Up to now, ive never had to fit one on the new range of BSH machines, nobody has ever wanted to pay the price. Are they easy enough to fit, they dont look too bad.
Thanks
Nick

No, they’re not compatible.
I had a muppet (save the sweary words) that bought the cheap one instead of the more expensive one he should have, fitted it and as he put it, “it wasn’t powerful enough”.
He trashed it.
Blamed us of course, yada yada, Paypal dispute etc but ended up being flagged for fraudulent behaviour.
But no, you can thank someone else for thinking the same way, save a bit of cash, that really didn’t end up saving at all, £80 mistake made by another.
You need the right one in the right model basically or it no worky!

I’ve posted quite a bit on this lately.
Trade prices aren’t that different between the types. £67 for the 651956 & £48 ish for the others.
I generally charge trade price plus £70 plus VAT. Don’t out price the job by charging the £120 list price…
Job done easily within 45 minutes even with a quick wash test!!Freestanding or integrated can all be done through the front panel with the door taken off!!
Make sure there is the new thin clamp in the box. (long thin bladed slotted screwdriver to reach through when positioned to the left of the sump.
The old heat pump just pulls backwards & twist to get it off the hoses.

Thanks for the replies. I thought there had to be some difference, it just wasn’t obvious from the photos.
It looks a pretty easy enough job and like you say Tim there isn’t too much between the two in trade prices. I’ll have to keep one on the van in future and undercharge the retail. I must have had about 10 in the last year with the heater blown. Thanks again
