ParticipantHi,
Had quite a few of these fridge freezers with the same problem. Fridge not cooling as it’s shutting off too long. It’s a problem with the foamed in sensor on fridge evaporator. As Beko don’t seem to list a fridge sensor for this I assumed it was un repairable. Ive since come across a YouTube video of a repair by digging out the foam st the back of fridge to locate and replace the sensor. Exactly like the old Hoover/ Candy ones. Does anyone know about this and what is the replacement part?
Is it this maybe? 4394720185Thanks

Unless there’s a temperature sensing thermistor located on the pc board/ potential metre control in the fridge, how would it sense the temperature in the fridge to control it?

Thanks for the info.
So in your experience, does replacing one or both of the sensors cure the problem of fridge not cold enough? After ascertaining that gas system is fine. Thanks

Ok thanks Dave.
Anyone know about this problem. I have come across many of these fridges where either the fridge is over freezing or not cold enough. Not gas problem. Changed potentiometer and board in the past but made know difference. That’s why I assumed there was a faulty foamed in sensor. Still can’t seem to work out how it controls the frifge temperature with no sensor in there. Would just like to know for future reference and understanding.
Anyone?
Thanks
