A few days back I noticed water underneath the veg drawer that sits on the bottom of the fridge section. Upon removal of the drawer it was awash with fluid complete with clumps of mould, which I blamed on a sideways stored bottle of lemonade.

There was so much water that a clump of ice had formed at the rear. I pulled this out which also dislodged a bead of silicon that runs along the base of the fridge.

Some days later with the drawer still out I see more water, ruling out the lemonade. Poking around the back along the silicon there is water behind the bead.

It looks like blocked drainage to me, but there is no drainage hole in the fridge, pulling it back from the wall I see a plastic tube going from the top fridge section down below to the compressor area, I suspect this is where there is a blockage.

Looking in the fridge interior it looks like the rear panel can be removed which is where I’ll find the drainage gubbins.

Is anyone familiar with this model who can advise before I attempt removal of panels?

I can post up some pictures later if required.

The folks on here helped me fix a washing machine fault some years ago that is still going strong, hope you can help on this.

    Cheers

Looks like I’ve sorted it now. The rear panel had 2 screws at the top behind some blanking plugs, it then all unclipped reasonably easily, to reveal the drain hole. What I thought was a silicon bead was something akin to foam draught excluder. The hole goes straight out the back of the fridge to a plastic tube down to the reservoir on the motor. Gave the hole & the tube a good clean & all is well now I hope. The reservoir was full too which I thought unusual. Let’s see how it all goes now.
