I have a Zanussi ZT685 and although the machine runs, after starting a cycle it will stop mid way through. When opening the Quick Cycle LED flashes continuously. I have checked the discharge hose not being linked as the manual mentioned this was the likely cause. However, all is fine and water pumps out seemingly without a problem. Not sure where to look next sonwould welcome any ideas?

    Many thanks

Don`t know BUT the most common mess up with the whole series was the l/h/side fill chamber / inlet valve problem. The machine fills ok does its thing then pumps out as it should but then will not refill. You might hear a faint buzz / hum in the background when it goofs up whioch will be or could be the valve .The side chamber gets full up of rubbish = grease food debris which blocks up the narrow chamber channels causing the inlet valve to go in to an inconsistant over fill mode so it shuts off the valve by air pressure. On this valve there should be a thin pipe that is about 6 to 8″ long, If you remove this pipe, turn off the tap and release the head pressure to the valve too ( by unscrewing the inlet hose off the valve ) and refit both may well cure the problem very temporarily, if it does it makes a point! The whole side chamber based on one of many pnc/product codes for your model which you do not state could be 911847004/00 and if so the part number is 152464036, alas, it isn`t cheap!
