    Hi,
The above module is causing the pump to become inoperative.

Is there an easy repair I can carry out?

    Your input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

the easiest repair you can do is send it to EMW electronics, and get a 6mth guaranteed refurb board back. takes 2 days, customer has peace of mind, you can either provide customer with emw receipt and get them to pay for it, or you can make a handling margin on it if you are prepared to do the extra paperwork.

    Thanks Gandh1,
That was my last resort, thought it worth trying the forum for a ‘home’ repair.

    Appreciate your prompt reply.

tried a few “home” repairs and as satisfying as they are when they do come off, its a fair bit of hassle, that realistically is not worthy of the time I spend on them if I’m busy. I’m all for furthering my knowledge and learning new techniques, but when you are faced with such a fragile board such as a hotpoint.indeshit one, emw is just too much of a no brainer. Quite often even if you fix the initial fault, there will be other issues on other compnents lined up just waiting to pop down the line. I think it was tony or lee at emw that told me a full “service” repair on a bhwm129 module If I did it myself sourcing the cheapest component prices online in the lowest qty 1-5 ordering rates would cost me about £16 in parts plus p&p and vat to refurbish the board. Yes its 35 quid profit lost, but for me the 6mth guarantee is worth that for the extra, and the knowledge its been done properly.
