    Hi picked up this fridge yesterday,owner said was working perfectly but got it home and plug it in and inside light ok but compressor not kicking in at all.My have damaged it on the way home as owner said it was working when I took it ,typical.Is there any way of checking if the compressor is faulty and if so is it worth replacing and at what cost

    It sounds more like the thermostat to me if it’s “dead” apart from the light.

    R134A is the gas type by the way 😉 The model number will be inside the fridge bext to the salad bin normally.
