I have ordered and received a replacement seal for this washing machine, the original seal is no longer manufactured by Miele and they say the replacement part is 5633855 but this has 2 outlets at the top of the seal where the original only has one. Can anyone advise what I should do about the 2nd outlet as presumably water will escape! I have tried calling Miele but they will not give technical advice.

not seen this myself. I looked up boots for this machine and they all seem to have 2 inlets but I cant see if either of them is blanked as photos are a bit lacking. If both of yours are open I would expect miele to have an answer to this in the form of a blanking plug. I would have expected it to be in the box and you could ask if its supposed to be in there.
if you do need to blank it you would need to find a piece of solid plastic you could push in and glue into placesite shop lists a boot
