ParticipantHi there
I have a Zanussi Electric Cooker, it’s an oven with induction hob model number zci68000ba
Sadly it’s not working correctly, I turn it on at the cooker switch, it comes on briefly then goes off again, or the dials just wont work to activate the hob or oven. An error code E03 did appear briefly at one point. Any advice or ideas as to what might be wrong with it would be appreciated 😀
I’m just trying to get an idea before I consider calling someone to have a look at it. I’m pretty good with devices and repairing things normally, I have no experience with ovens so I’m unsure and curious more that anything. Thanks very much for any advice.

Oven is dead too yeah, nothing working on it not even the little light in the oven.
Lcd panel flashes on briefly then nothing.

from that info it sounds more like a power problem. I would suspect the wall switch

Hi. I also have a ZANUSSI ZCI68000BA induction cooker and I was just cooking on it and now it’s just switched itself off. It beeped once the hob and the whole thing has now shut down.
There is power going to it as the socket light is still on and the mains haven’t tripped? Did you have any luck with fixing yours… I was in the middle of cooking a roast 🙁

you say the light is on the socket but I assume you mean the cooker switch as its too big to be plugged into a socket
just because the light is on does not mean the cooker is getting power. there is a mains terminal block at the rear of the unit and these can burn out if not connected properly
the oven seems to have a separate circuit within the unit so if the hob fails and there is still power getting to the unit then the oven will work
