I just bought a hotpoint aquarius wdal 8460.its my first washer dryer so forgive me if this is supposed to happen but during the drying cycle and on drying only cycle water sprays in to the detergent drawer(loudly too). Why is it doing this? I cannot find any answers in the manual on the hotpoint website or via Google.

Some water runs into all washer dryers on the drying cycle, is your mains water pressure very high?

I wouldn’t know how to tell if the water pressure is high tbh. I understand it is supposed to take water in during the drying cycle but when I spoke to hotpoint she said it shouldn’t be spraying in to the draw every couple of seconds like it is during the drying cycle. They’re sending someone out on Wednesday to look at it.
