I have a Beko ECO WMB81445 LW (white). The door locks, cycle runs, no issue. The door handle is floppy and will not unlock. The only way I can get it to open is to squeeze at the inner-most part of the handle where is meets the door. This seems to release the latch enough to open the door.

Doing this is ok as a (very) short term measure but not sure how much longer I’ll get away with it. I have young children and wash every day, so can’t afford it out of action.

Can anyone help – what parts do I need to replace to fix this floppy handle problem?! I can find replacement handle, spring, pin, latch, but never a complete set for this model. Don’t want to get the wrong thing or buy unneccesary items.

Seen lots of online stuff about the lock mechanism or snapped handles, but nothing that describes this problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would take the door to bits and have a close look at the plastic handle for cracks as it is the most likely cause
