I am replacing the fan element in the large lower oven.

When I removed the element to get to the connectors the wire on one of the connectors came loose before I could see which wire was connected 🙁

There are only 2 tags on the element (no earth) but 3 wires from the oven – see attached image

1x single – white with black markings
1x single – white with red markings
1x double to a single connector – white with red markings

The white with black markings was connected but the 2nd connection came off before I got to see which of the remaining cables was connected so I don’t know whether it was the single or double that was on the other connector. The spare one assuming is the Earth that’s needs keeping away from the other two so will ensure this is out of the way when the element goes back in.

Has anyone else got this oven or had experience of replacing the fan element and can advise which wire to connect?

    Cheers
    John

double on one side, single on the other

double will be the 2 reds

no earth cable as far as I can see would be green and yellow if it was

    Thanks for the quick response.

Just to be clear: the single black on one element connector and both the double red and the single red on the other connector so all 3 cables need to be connected?
