Lofra curva timer issue

    I have a lofra curva dual fuel single cavity cooker. It has developed a fault with the timer I think. Sometimes even when not in use it will make a noise. Then when I select any oven function and turn up the temperature control it will repeatedly turn off and on every few seconds. Sometimes remaining off occasionally it will stay on. Can I bypass this digital timer as I never use it? The model number is MXC76AMF/cv001 serial no 200043 cod 51190210 type M.C66GG1/CV cert 1312BP4047. Help
