Thermostat wiring diagram

My daughter has just bought her first flat and the Hotpoint HM315NI fridge/freezer was not cutting out and froze the milk solid. She ordered a new thermostat from the Hotpoint website to fit her model. I changed the thermostat for her, wire for wire, but the problem was not solved. I googled and found something saying the terminals should be as follows: Live In 3, Compressor 4, Bulb 6.
The thermostat I removed was wired differently (3 & 6 reversed) so I rewired the new one as above. However, the fault is still there. I spoke to Hotpoint who told me that she ordered the wrong one and they have ordered the correct one now. (why did their website not ask for s/number as there are 3 different thermostats for this model, but that’s another story).
I just want to confirm the correct wiring for the new thermostat if anyone can advise, thank you very much.
