Under-counter fridge in a cold-ish room?

Hi All

So I got a bunch of good advice here on various items when I bought my flat. One of the things I didn’t take your advice on was the under-counter fridge, the model you recommended was out of stock and I went cheap/easy with a Lec R5010… and it’s lasted all of three years (the light comes on, the thermostat clicks, but nothing happens – I’m assuming that means it’s something major therefore uneconomical to repair).

I’m wondering whether part of the reason it didn’t last so long was that it’s c-c-cold in here? The fridge is inside the flat, not in a garage or outhouse, and it’s not as if there’s ice on the windows or anything like that, but I have single-glazed windows and the kitchen is north-facing and unheated (unless I want to leave all the doors open, which I don’t).

I did some research and found out there are climate classes for fridges, and that most of the ones sold in the UK are from sixteen degrees upwards. (I’m sure my kitchen is not sixteen degrees upwards during the winter months.)

Apart from Beko, which do SN… should I get a Beko (UR584AP)?

If not – if I’m misdirecting myself and the ambient temperature being below sixteen degrees in the winter is not really a big issue – what should I get?

It isn’t vital that it fits under a counter per se (although my max width is 55cm), but I live on my own and don’t need anything big. Could go a bit taller but only if the extra space was freezer space, I don’t need a bigger fridge bit. It does need a proper freezer compartment please, not just an ice-box thing.
