    Hi All,

First time posting here. We currently have a problem with our hotpoint tumble dryer (TVFS73BGG_GH). It runs on a cycle but fails to heat up. I have checked the machines thermostats and heating elements. The thermostats read closed circuit and the elements 48Ohms each.

I have also taken a reading across the rear NTC thermistor. This is reading 100kOhm at room temp. From what i can see online from other machine readings this is very high, but I am unsure if it is normal for the Hotpoint TVFS73BGG_GH?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Chris

Problem solved. Removed the side casing to find a loose connection between the heating element and PCB. Tumble dryer now working fine.

    Cheers

    Chris
