    Hope someone can advise..Tumble dryer has stopped working after last succesful load now dead..no lights fuse checked in plug and all fine so is socket RCD not tripped. Possible switch issue? Husband is competent and is up to speed with electrical side of things as although a corgi reg plumber he fits huge commercial equipment for a living so maybe something he could do? All help appreciated!

    Could be heater thermostat failure.

    Has this dryer had the fire safety modifications done?

    Yes it had that done a while ago.Last load was Sons stuff and he is a nightmare for over drying? I wonder if it could be the case then?

    On certain models the neutral feed goes through the safety cut out stat, if that fails the machine will appear dead.

    I’ll gat him to have a fiddle with it this weekend hopefully! Thanks for the advice.
