ParticipantHi there,
Wondering if anyone can help please 🙂
The bit of our washing machine which holds the front, right foot has broken, meaning there is nothing to hold the front right foot in place.
We have a Beko WMI 71641.
It’s not the foot – but the metal part that holds the foot.
Can anyone advise the part we need to order, and how to fix?
See pics.
Thanks!

That is serious structural damage you have there. Part of the welded subframe has come away so you have 2 options…
1) Weld a steel plate across the damaged void. And include the correct threaded nut on that welded plate to finally attach that adjustable foot.
2) Place a sturdy block of wood under that corner ensuring the machine is level and stable as a result.March 8, 2018 at 8:20 pm #454567don

Hi
Have deleted your duplicate post in spares help forum. I think you will get a better response here in this forum.
It’s also easier to keep track if it’s kept to one thread.
Hope you get your problem sorted.

Thanks for super quick reply.
Presumably option one would be best idea?
Option 2 – it’s the easier one as doesn’t require hiring a welder. Do you think machine would jump about on the wood, without the foot?

Either above or a new cabinet
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEKO-2942700 … Sw0RlZczNI
cabinet part no 2942700500
it also would mean a complete strip down of the machine and everything moved across
wood should be ok if you find a reasonable piece and balance with remaining legs
I would however closely inspect other legs for signs of cracks
as for welding if you did not want to do it yourself I would ask a car body shop as they are used to dealing with thin steel
one other option is to find a piece of steel plate (not too thin) rivet it with substantial rivets onto the base like on picture drill a hole for the foot, put a nut and a larger washer on the foot, put it through the hole and secure above with another nut and washer
try to get foot at a reasonable height and adjust other feet to suitpaint steel if worried about rust
just a thought
