    Hello All,

I have a Hoover WDYN-855D, The thermostatic cut outs are tripping. I replaced the thermostat but I’m still having the same problem. If I press the cut out pins back in and run a drying cycle the element does heat up but after about 5 mins they trip again.

If anyone has any idea of what could be causing the issue it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m thinking could it be something to do with the hot air not being condensed properly? not sure.

    Best regards

9 times out of 10 this is due to a blocked condenser.

    Hi Iadom,

I’m not sure where the actual condenser is on this model.

I’ve taken off the black hose that connects to the inlet and the duct cleaned it and taken apart the th housing cleaned all the fluff that I can see. The trip buttons keep going so the only thing I can think off is that I’ve not located the condenser. Fo you know where it’s located on this model I’ve googled it and cant find any info on it.

This range suffer with the fins of the dryer blower motor getting choked.

You have to take the top section of the dryer manifold off.

Unplug the machine first of course!!

Or the condenser is blocked up? The condenser is part of the rear tank moulding. If you do as per Timdowning suggests whilst you have that all removed turn off cold water inlet hose and disconnect from machine`s end/valve and use the high pressure of the hose to blast water down the condenser channel to clear any rubbish for about 10 secs. Obviously as previously stated with the machine unplug.
