bosch hinges

    had this same issue once before.. basically customer has a bosch oven HBN9750GB/06 fiited hinges 2016 pt 267845 door not closing tight.. same thing happening again.. say they haven’t put any pressure on door etc.. previously i had same problem with another customer fitted 3 sets in bout 5 years tried inserts too made no difference.. any ideas?

    well someone has put pressure on the door

    if you take the hinges out. put them back in the oven (without the door). Release the lock and let it go all the way up. if its ok as far as I remember it will touch the oven casing. if it doesn’t its faulty
    you can then try the hinge on the other side. if its a receiver problem you may get a different result. unless both sides are bent

    not customer issue, its soft metal used in the production. The issue is the shoulder the roller rolls over which is what gives it that satisfying thump as the door closes the last bit, it wears rounded so new hinges will cure the fault but from day 1 it will start wearing again.
