i got a new door seal for this ,, part nos c00303520 the flange looks at least 2 inches short .. to possibly fit too dryer funnel .. i have checked with indesit .. they say its correct part for model .. mmm confused cant see how it will fit . anyone had this ? 😡 :snig:

Correct part number according to Partfinder, wouldn’t be the first time a part has been bagged up incorrectly though. 😉
No mention at all of a later alternative either.
Have you actually compared old and new side by side?
What is the commercial code?

There is a model listed as an EWDE7125S58 which does have a different seal, part #C00505321.

hotpoint modified the inlet pipe on the boot. and made it longer. Had this on a machine 18 months ago. part number above was the answer but it took a lot of digging
on my machine despite giving correct number they were swearing blind I had correct boot when I did not. so this brings up memories
also had a heck of a job fitting the boot spring. I am sure there must be a special tool for this

:con: yeh looks a right pain .. the original has ,, a flange about 4 inches .. which has a shoulder making it less wide 2 inches up .. all pics of the door seal … for that model look different .. and cant see how flange .. would reach .. metal funnel ,, brain damage(

the hardest part is getting spring round the drum
other rubber has longer funnel
you will need a big zip clip to attach boot to td fan chamber as that is not supplied with boot

yeh looks more like it …honestly what a pain erse .. new since whirlpool took over .. . ever thing would be a nightmare to fix and get correct parts ..jokers

when I got this problem machine was under 12 months old but they told me to fix it anyway. and I got the wrong boot and went back only to find it does not fit
qualtex show it but as special order so prob only sold 1 to me over 12 months ago

cheers for help .. if its not hard enough to fix things theses days .. am getting to the stage .. to just jack it in .. its just not worth the hassle anymore … :crying: :death:

my dad who has just retired 50 years me 30 years ,, wheres all the easy jobs like .. just normal f/freezers states .. hotpoint carbon jobs .. ie motor at top .. games fecked
