I have had my Hotpoint LTB 4B019 built in dishwasher for 18 months and it has worked well with no problems. I set it to go the other evening shut the door and nothing happened. After messing with the door catch it did start, so I thought this was the issue. I ordered a new catch and switch and fitted this. However it still would not work with out pushing the catch with a screwdriver. I am now at a point where it will not start at all due to switching it mid cycle and do not know how to reset it. I have tried turning off and unplugging and pressing power for 10 secs but nothing works. Does anyone know how to reset? And if so how does the relay switch it the door work. Thanks
since its integrated is the outer door hitting something that’s stopping the door closing all the way
had a few dishwashers, normally in situations where there is a stone work surface, where the unit has not been secured adequately. The unit moves backwards slightly allowing the door to catch a wooden crossbar
Thanks Dave, I think what you say is what’s happening, as it is starting when I trigger the door relay manually. The problem I have now is not being able to reset the cycle. Do you know how to do this on hotpoint dishwashers?
