The door lock light doesn’t come on and the error code E40 is appearing. The door appears to be locking normally.
How do we fix this?

it is still most likely a faulty door lock but cannot be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain till you fit one to try it. there is about a 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance its a faulty control board
it will be the later lock so you will set a programme, door lock will go click click click then E40 comes up
there are 4 of these machines so we need a pnc number ( on door label) to get correct part no (like 914522515 02 )
