Last night , the conventional oven of this range cooker stopped working. I am leaning towards the thermostat having failed, as the oven doesn’t heat up and the orange temperature light stays off. However I have noted a couple of other issues, which all appear to have occurred together with the oven problem, these being the oven illumination lamp doesn’t come on and the plate warmer, on the hob, also isn’t working.
I could understand the link between the thermostat/switch and the oven lamp, but not the plate warmer.

Obviously I don’t want to order a part that I later find isn’t needed, so wondered if anyone on this forum could help. I have searched for a wiring diagram to see if the issues are linked, but to no avail.

    Thanks

there are 2 thermal cutouts and one of them controls the conventional oven and the plate warmer

it should be at the rear of the cooker behind the oven

Thanks for the info. I will have a look over the weekend. Would this also cause the hob ignition to stop working? I only noticed it yesterday when I came to boil some potatoes!
