    well that not listed

all the fault codes I can see involving light 2 are

    2 & 4
    2 & 3
    2 & 3 & 4
    1 & 2

none involving lamp 2 on its own

    that’s fault 12

communication error between the 2 control boards

there is a control panel ( with the knobs on it) and a main board down at the back right. there I a cable (think its 4 wires) going from one board to the other. Find this cable ( at the top first for ease) unplug it and replace plug 2 or 3 times. If its a dirty contact then it will work again. if it does not work check the cable routing for any signs of cable damage

if all fails it could be a faulty board

I can the cables. Will have to take back cover off to take the bottom one off. Shall I do the same for the door lock too?
    Thanks in advance

no door lock is at mains voltages but comm cables are at 5 or 12 volts so dirty contact can stop them

🙁 did all that but still same issue. What’s the next best option? Can these boards be reconditioned or is it not worth it? Also how would I know which board is at fault?
Thanks again for your prompt response

if you go down this route send them both board then they can check both boards as a pair. Otherwise you could send one and the problem is the other one

Thanks Dave. How the fart do I take the control module off? Tried taking the front turn knobs off but it feels like there is something else holding it. I also removed the 2 screws. Also what sort of cost approx for both pcb?
    Thanks a million

” How the fart do I take the control module off” hmm not sure on this lol

take the whole front panel off. soap draw out , take screws out round soap draw, take lid off and remove screws at the top and carefully unclip panel

lower panel is more difficult due to space

don’t forget to take lots of pictures so you know where all the wires go and howe they clip back

as for cost you can look at their websites when you have the boards out. when I say send both boards it is unlikely both will be faulty so you should only get charged for one
