Ladies and Gents, does anyone know which sensor the Hotpoint BFI680 uses to determine that the filter needs cleaned? Is it the high pressure sensor just below the bottom arm (between the pump and the bottom arm)?

I ask as I was consistently getting this fault, replace the low pressure (level) sensor and it worked for about a month, the odd time giving the clean filter alarm, but a restart would clear,…. not the alarm is persistent.

    Thanks

Guys, I am thinking that the low pressure sensor simply manages the filling and draining (levels). So, is the high pressure sensor there to monitor the pressure when the circ pump is running. If, when the pump is running, this sensor is not activated (pressure remains low), does the controller flag a blocked filter, as a blocked filter would restrict the flow into the pump, reducing the pressure on the output of the pump,….?
