Hi, I have a problem with my diplomat dishwasher adp8332, I will start from the beginning about 3 months ago it blew fuse in plug and tripped comsumer unit, when reset it it then gave continuous f1 error that could not be reset, ordered new ntc thermistor from this site and working great again for nearly 3 months, twice a day usage, it has now done exactly the same thing again but now the f1 error can be reset, but at the end of the cycle it f1 errors again, also the element is staying on all the time even when stood in standby dry and only goes off when the power is shut down.
Luckily I kept hold of the last ntc so I took the new one off and tested them both, they to my surprise give almost identical readings around 64 ohms at room temp and both drop to nearly the same reading when submerged in hot water, how was it possible for it to work for nearly 3 months if both ntc’ where good or does anyone think the ntc’s have failed to the same values, I have checked all the wires in the door they are fine and also check ohms values at the pcb side all the same readings all connectors are spotless, can anyone shed some light on my situation ?

Check the wiring in the door at the bottom. There is a plastic sleeve that breaks and the the wires snap and can touch the metal and go bang

    Part no 480140100687
Site shop should be able to supply

Fix wires and if all ok fit new sleeve

Thanks for the reply pal, but I checked the wires they where all ok as far as I could tell the casing was split though.

The cutlery dryer is staying on all the time and then throwing a f1, I see on other makes it can be heater relay sticking but can’t find a relay on my dishwasher.

The heater relay is mounted on the pcb. They can be changed but have to be soldered in. You have to source them from electronics suppliers like rs components
