I’m aware of the Beko fridge freezer recall, of models with a defrost timer, made between 2000 and 2007 due to the risk of :fire: The Sankyo defrost timer (mechanical) was mounted at the edge of the compressor compartment at the rear base of the appliances. Part of the fix or corrective action was to move the timer towards the back of the compartment, presumably where it wasn’t as exposed. Am looking out for these timers and wondered if anyone had seen them used on other manufacturers products and how they were housed and positioned?
