A letting agent has to replace a dual fuel range cooker.
I have been asked which make they should go for.
The two appliances they are considering are; Fisher & Paykel OR90L7DBGFX1and the SMEG Concert SUK92MX9.
The difference in price is about £100 and guarantee 2 years on both.
Does anyone know how these would compare in quality and the difference regarding spares availability and cost?
I had a call where a cooker cleaning company damaged the hinge receiver on a smeg oven and the receiver was part of the frame therefore not replaceable. I don’t think I’ve seen one of the Fisher Paykel’s to make a comparison.

Smeg, parts are a lot easier and cheaper.

    Thanks Ken, that was quick.
Do you know if there’s much difference in the quality of the appliances?

    Well, depends.

If the F&P is a rebranded Delonghi then on a par or not as good. Think Kenwood, Elba etc.

If it’s a real F&P (doubtful at a similar price point) then the F&P is better.

Thanks for the info, I’m struggling to find out if re-branded.
According to a supplier I’ve used in the past they are similar in quality so I don’t think there’s a great deal to chose between the two.
