    I have a strange humming noise coming from the machine. It seems to be when both the drum spins and the drain pumps but it doesn’t happen when they go on they’re own??? Took it apart, had a look and there are 2 drain pumps???? Why?
    Please help, machine still works fine just with a horrendous noise and its driving us a little mad!!!!

    One is a drain pump, the other is a recirculation pump. Probably the recirculation pump is the one that’s noisy if the appliance seems to be working.

    Thanks mate thats exactly what I was thinking. Is there anyway to tell which is which and are they the same pump? Also can it be fixed or is getting a new one the better option?

    they are both the same The drain pump will be the one on the same side as the grey drain hose. They can’t be repaired, just replace it.
