KeymasterHi
Posting a query for my parents after telling them how good this site is:
They are looking to buy a slimline dishwasher that will be excellent quality but not too expensive. They are wondering:
How much should they expect to pay for something decent?
What brands should they be considering?
Where to look for bargains as they are in the middle of huge DIY project across whole house?Quality and value for money is the combo they are looking for.
😉
If you can suggest model numbers please do!Thanks for your help.

Woolabrawonga?????????
I won’t ask, but anyway, BOSCH are fine machines, buy any model ‘mid-range’ is best, nothing else comes close

KeymasterYeah for 45cm machines I’d have to agree with Martin. The Smeg ain’t bad either though and is good looking if you want stainless, no idea on the price of it though.

I have a BOSCH “Classix” SRS43C12GB slimline dishwasher, excellent machine, does what it says on the tin with no fuss, extremely quiet and makes a great job of the dishes….also being a slimline model you would think that equals little space inside , but I can assure you that it takes most things easily and does a great job!
Also the controls are simple, non fancy and gives a wide choice of programmes to use. I find the ECO 50oC washes as well as the main 65oC wash, there is also a quick wash for lightly soiled dishes. Its a great machine, solid and reliable….worth every penny!
I would recommend that you look at these forums before you decide though…..and I would steer you away from Hotpoint/Indesit
If you want to find the cheapest one do a search for the model on http://www.Kelkoo.co.uk type in Bosch SRS43C12GB and you will find the cheapest price, currently I found it retailing for £231.99 including delivery. Remember also that Bosch appliances come with a 2 year guarantee and are very reliable machines overall with great service if anything should go wrong
