    This is a 12yr old Side by Side Fridge Freezer. Was working but recently noticed milk going off. No errors on control panel. Put a digital thermometer in and reads ~15C! No wonder milk is off.
    Rear compartment was STUFFED with fluff. Now removed.
    Both the compressor fan and freezer compartment fan are running.
    There was some ice in the rear freezer vent from the fridge. Removed.
    Cold air is coming into fridge via the small vent by the Fridge Meat/Veg drawer.
    Ideas on why the Fridge is staying warm?
    Whirlpool code is S25D RSS33-A/G / 8586 168 15010.

    there will be 2 pipes from the freezer

    cold air in and air return

    if air in is clear but return is not then it still wont cool down

    either look for more ice or turn it off for 2 days with doors open to totally defrost

    Thanks Dave. Checked the air ducts. Quite a large one to Middle of the fridge down to the heat exchangers in the freezer. It did have some ice but was easily cleared. The much smaller airway from the freezer is blowing cold into the Fridge’s bottom drawer. Though it’s only reached ~8C at the base of the Fridge.

    there is only a few things that can cause this

    1 ice build up stopping air flow in and out of fridge
    2 fan failure stopping air flow
    3 stat or control failure either lettings thing get too cold or not cold enough

    there is also flap failure so there is no control on how much cold air enters fridge

    I’ll check on how it’s operating tomorrow.
    Thanks for the list. 1 & 2 look to be ruled out. SO if there is still a problem tomorrow then 3 looks to be the cause.

    Sounds like mine. Flap controller is not operating so stuck wondering whether it’s that or the sensor or the control board. All big bucks to replace except the sensor. Is there any way of testing the flap controller?
