Hi, I have acquired a Frigidaire Deluxe chest freezer. Type NOV280L and model FC1700.
On the front bottom of the freezer there is a dial and an row if 3 lights. The first light is yello which can be pressed in. The second light is red and the third is white. The red and white light can not be pressed in. Could someone please let me know where the dial should be pointed and if the yellow button should be pressed in or not and if annoying has a manual that would be great. ThanksRe: Lights/Buttons

The white light was probably green when the freezer was new.
So the colours are yellow = fast freeze ideal for freezing down large capacities, this will keep the compressor running permanently until you switch it off.
Red = warning temperature light.
White (which was probably green when the freezer was new) indicates the mains to it is on.
