Hi. Been asked to have a look at this- its a pop up extractor. When power is turned on i can here a relay click on the main pcb and the touch control display lights up for about 5 seconds and then goes off and cannot get any funcion at all. Switch off and on again and exactly the same happens. The relay stays energised after display goes off. Another engineer has been and said its pcb in separate control box but customer didn’t think he really new and hasn’t come back with a quote!! Does anyone have experience of these or some technical info or manual???
    Thanks Alan

first thing I would look for is blown caps on the power board and take it from there

    sounds like a pcb issue

not looked but are they available as cost of repair will come into this

might still be a power supply issue but after checking caps you would have to have electronic knowledge to go further

had a washer doing similar things a few years ago ended up being a 5v regulator on the board that worked for a bit then failed every time it was turned on

Yes. Qualtex have the pcb in stock but it’s about £150 so I’m being a bit cautious!!
