    Hi,

    I’ve got a Siemens built-in electric double oven (model: hb 15 m.50B) and yesterday I think the selector switch broke as the knob turns freely without any clicking. I just wondered if it was an easy diy repair job, or best to call someone in to fix it? I tried to locate the spare part online but without success, perhaps because it’s an old model.

    The oven is over 10 years old now so I wouldn’t mind replacing it in the near future. Are there any brands and models that are most highly regarded such as Neff?

    this oven has a weak spot on the knobs

    this little joint connects the knobs to the switches and had quite a few snap.
