CDA not lighting

    Hi
    I have a brand new CDA gas hob
    Model HVG 66 Bl
    Serial 7412510029

    Tried lighting the hob but it just keeps going out.
    Says to keave for a minute before tryong again then hold control knob down for 10 .
    Tried this and it still keeps on going out.

    Any ideas please

    When you light any burner you hold the knob down long enough for the thermocouple in the flame to get hot. This feeds back to the control to lock it on. The idea is if wind blows out the flame it will shut off when it cools down

    Held it down for over 40 seconds
    and still not lighting!

    Could see one burner being faulty but all 4 would be rare.
    If you can’t get it to work then ring them and ask

    When you say it’s not lighting I assume you mean it’s lighting but goes out when you release the knob
