    Hi, my washing machine started tripping the house rcb yesterday. It takes in water fine but as soon as it makes its first rotation of the drum it trips. Any thoughts?

    Motor or heater are at fault here so both need checking. Worn out motor carbon brushes the most likely culprit I would say.
