Hi, I have a Daewoo American style fridge freezer model FRSU201A1 and just recently I’ve noticed the top two shelves defrosting the food.
Lower shelves food ok still frozen.

to stay safe food has to be at -18 degrees or there abouts. I think you will find that although the food is frozen it may only be just below freezing which may mean it is already unsafe to eat.
from your description your unit is either got a gas leak and in now running low or your compressor is failing. If compressor is running constantly that seal it
only other thing to check is ventilation. don’t know how your unit is housed but fridges have to get rid of heat and if they a enclosed in kitchen unit with no air flow they cant function. especially in very hot weather
either way its a professional job. I cant even do my own fridge repairs as its a specialized jobyou need to think if you want it looked at for repair or replace it
